INTERNATIONAL SILVER CO.Derby Dated 1929 Golf trophy cocktail shaker.Large Silver or Silver plate Cocktail Shaker.This Prohibition Golf Trophy dated 1929 has on the front"Won By" and NO name. ONE OF A KIND and that was when the market crashed.Maybe the Tournament was canceled?Then again, I would imagine the tournament was in the summer and the market crashwas in the fall.This cocktail shaker has several things going for it.Art Deco Era, The company/ International silver. The year 1929 which is a very important year in our history!Prohibition, Market crash!It's a One of a Kind cocktail shaker. It's a golf Trophy. It has a regionalhistory value and highly  collectible as only one was made!Plus..You can use it for your favorite mixed cocktail! It has some silver markings on the bottom. I assume it'ssilver plated and not solid silver.See markings on the bottom picture. The entire front engraved as follows. ANNUAL HANDICAPGOLF TOURAMENTCONANICUT COUNTRY CLUBWON BYblank1929 This shaker stands 11.5'' tall. The base is 3.75'' in diameter,and the width increases to 8'' at the handle edge and spout end.You can see a shinny square on the back where some tape was that I took off.(SEE PICTURES) It needs to be polished. The cap screws off the lid for pouring/straining. This sleek, vintage bar-ware item is quite substantial - weighing 29 ounces. This lovely cocktail shaker item is in very good vintage condition.Item shows some minor signs of wear/use as is expected. I has one small ding/ dent in the front (see pictures).Wonderful addition to any collection.
